Daredevil Debie Dives For Charity

Daredevil Debie Hughes hopes to raise over £3,000 for a Leeds based charity from a sponsored sky dive.

Debie, a member of the YPS accounts department, will be among a group of intrepid volunteers jumping from a plane at a height of around 10,000 ft over Scarborough on September 28th. They are raising much needed funds for Sound Sense which helps children and youngsters across Yorkshire suffering from debilitating diseases such as cancer and leukaemia, people with Parkinson's and those in need due to illness.

“I have never done anything like this before and I'm petrified. However it is for a great cause, which is aimed at putting the smile on the faces of very poorly children and I hope to raise plenty of money through the generosity of family and friends,” said Debie.
