Manufacturing

The manufacturing range includes gate valves to API 600/ISO 10434, globe valves to BS1873 ‘T’, ‘L’ and ‘Y’ patterns and swing check valves to BS 1868 or API 6D regular. All the products designed are in compliance with ASME B16.34 and the PED. High integrity valves for corrosive or hazardous duty are normal for YPS Valves with castings supplied to meet ASTM E446 levels 3, 2 and 1 depending on the criticality of the application.

Modifying

The fast track production of cryogenic valves by modification or remanufacture is possible because of the synergy of the stocking and manufacturing businesses. Stock valves are converted and upgraded to meet stringent gas leak testing requirements within the ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing system.

Stock Holding

The stock profile of stainless steel gate, globe and check includes API 600 heavy wall valves in sizes from 2" to 16" and pressure classes from ASME 150# to 1500#. ASME B16.34 and API 603 standard wall are also kept in classes 150# to 600# and sizes from 0.5" to 18".

Test Facilities

Cryogenic tests to BS6364 and emission testing to ISO 15848 in addition to routine hydrostatic and gas pressure tests are carried out in-house using our own dedicated facility, which is available to external customers.
