All Change At The Top

YPS has announced major changes to its senior management structure.

Former Managing Director and YPS founder Adrian Ducker has taken up the position of YPS Langley Group Chairman and will remain an active member of the senior management team.

Adrian has spent over 40 years in the valve industry, initially with the family business, followed by a short period with the Pegler Hattersley Group, before launching YPS in 1976.

Adrian is replaced as Group Managing Director by his daughter, Rachel Wormald.

Rachel, who gained a BA (Hons) degree at Humberside University, joined YPS in 1998 and became Director and Company Secretary in 2001.

Adrian said: “Rachel has a wealth of experience of both YPS and the valve industry, coupled with a determination to drive the business forward.

“Now is the right time to hand the day to day management to the next generation and I wish Rachel every success in her new role.”
